UNIVERSIDADE SÉNIOR DE ÉVORA (USE). We want seniors to be able to use a computer for personal use and Internet for contacts, research, and every kind of use for a good way of life. Our motivation is to get involved our university seniors in a way to get them prepared to use new technologies. We want to provide our seniors the possibility to improve their selves. Our students motivation is to enrich their selves in a way to get a better life
Castellón project meeting. November 2008
The USE participated in the Castellón meeting with 2 representatitives.
In that meeting we had the chance to visit the UJI, their premises and also attend and participate in the ICT classes. We presented our institution and the activities we currently are working on and we had the possibility to learn more about other institutions.
The USE has voluntarily offered to carry out the evaluations of the project. The work will consist on evaluate the work done between each meeting, and also the work done in the very same meeting. The forms will evaluate the organisation, communication, task management, exchange of knowledge and usefulness and benefits of the project, and will have a section for suggestions.
Each phase and meeting is evaluated and results are presented before the others meetings, so corrective actions could be taken to maximise the quality and benefits of next periods and meetings.

2009 Calendar. December 2008
The USE, in collaboration with UFA, produced a calendar. This was the first step to let all students know about the activeICT project, and therefore, to begin the discussion and interest about it
Second project meeting participation. March 2009
The USE attended the second project meeting in Udine (Italy) with one delegate, one teacher and 4 learners.
We presented our experience and learners and teachers testimonies about different levels of ICT teaching, and the relation with the most suitable methodology and benefits. You can read the material produced in the "meetings" section

Regional news presented on 15/04/2009 the commitment of the USE in the activeICT project, and also presented the experience of the learners participating in this project
IT course in Evora. April 2009
USE developed a Power Point Course in 5 sessions, an experimental activity for advanced learner’s students
This activity was apart from the regular activities and was for free to the students who wanted to participate. This activity was handled in April, during Easter holidays and we had in the Course 9 senior students.
The dissemination of this activity was made in the advanced learner’s classes in the Institution
Third project meeting participation. September 2009
The USE attended the third project meeing in Calarasi (Romania) with two delegates and one teacher.
In Romania - Calarasi meeting it was not made a presentation, considering that our practical activities start in October and end in June, which means that in this phase we were organizing the new scholar year and we presented the results in the forward meeting.. Fourth project meeting organisation. February 2010
The USE prepared and organised the fourth project of the activeICT project. We had a total of 55 participants from outside the USE.
Everybody had the chance to see our premises and also to attend some of the classes and met our learners. During the meeting, everybody was able to show and exchange ideas about the ICT activities in the activeICT project. You can read the material produced in the "meetings" section.

Regional news announced the meeting of the activeICT project in Évora.
Project meeting participation. March 2010
The PCCE and SCC organised together this extra meeting in the activeICT project. Because of the experience that the PCCE and SCC have regarding the LifeLong Learning activities and policy and also the Finnish society in general, almost all the partners attended this extra meeting and took advantadge of the visit and conferences.

Fith project meeting participation. June 2010
USE attended the final meeting in Poland and presented the conclusions of this project for the Institution. It was presented also the USE in number for IT activities.
Only one delegate attended this meeting.
All the participants visited the institution and had the chance to understand better how the activities in the Third Age University and in local colleges are carried out. This was the farewell meeting to prepare the conclusion, evaluation and nearly close the project. You can read the material produced in the "meetings" section.
