About the activeICT meetings

During all the whole project there were planned 5 meetings. The main aims of these meetings were to visit the premises of the institution and study and observe the activities thay they are carring out. Furhtermore, the meetings allowed the necessary communication among the partners for an exchange of knowledge and best practises. Thanks to this meetings, the mobilities could be reached.

Castellón, Spain. November 2008

The aims of this meetings were:

  • Meeting in the Senior Citizens’ University, visit the institution premises, and explore the ICT activities
  • Kick-off meeting: detail the overall plan of all the partnership
  • To present all institutions and their activities. Allow the first exchange of knowledge and experiences among the institutions

During the meeting, each partner presented the institution, not only what they do, but also the experience and areas where they know better and therefore other institutions can take advantadge

Udine, Italy. March 2009

The aims of this meetings were:

  • Meeting in the Università delle LiberEta , visit the institution premises, and explore the ICT activities
  • To present by all institutions the best practices and most transferable knowledge to other institutions
  • Agree the activities all institutions have to carry out during the project, establish the collaboration between them

During the meeting, each partner resented in detail the activities that could be done in the framework of the project. Some of the partners began to collaborate and participate together in some activities, so this was the first chance to evaluate how was this exchange developing. The task proposed will be the basis of the work during the whole project.

Calarasi, Romania. September 2009

The aims of this meetings were:

  • Meeting in the Association for Education and Sustainable Development, visit the institution premises.
  • Each institution presents to the partnership the activities is carrying out. How have been designed and implemented. Discuss and allow the exchange of information between the institutions

Évora, Portugal. February 2010

The aims of this meetings were:

  • Meeting in the Senior University of Evora, visit the institution premises and their activities and classes.
  • Each institution presents the first results of their activities, how they have been developed and also the impact. Thanks to this, other partners can take advantadge of their experience and also discuss changes and suggest about the implementation to get better results.

Helsinki and Sastamala, Finland. March 2010

The aims of this meetings were:

  • Study visit of the Palmenia Centre for Continuing Education, their activities and policy in Continuous Education. Study visit in the Sastamala Community College: premises, activities and courses.
  • This meeting allowed to explore two Finnish different institutions in very different environments (City and Rural), and their philosophy and practice in lifelong learning.

Myslowice and Krakow, Poland. June 2010

The aims of this meetings were:

  • Meeting in the Cardinal August Hlond University of Pedagogical Education and in the The Cracow Centre of the Improvement of Educational Personnel, visit the institution premises and their activities and classes.
  • Present the evaluations of the activities and results of the project by the partners.
  • Establish the last steps for the conclusion of the project.
